Kangana Ranaut, Ekta Kapoor & Karan Johar to receive Padma Shri on November 8

Padma Shri Awards: Filmmakers Ekta Kapoor, Karan Johar and actor Kangana Ranaut, among others were conferred with the fourth highest civilian honour, Padma Shri Award on January 26, 2020.

The trio were honoured with the Padma Shri for their excellence in the field of performing arts.

Karan Johar, Ekta Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut will be travelling to Delhi to receive their award on November 8. 

Ekta Kapoor's father, veteran actor Jeetendra, will also be travelling to Delhi with his daughter.

Talking about being honoured with Padma Shri, Kangana Ranaut had said last year, that she is humbled and thanked her country for the recognition.
