18th Berlin Festival of lights 2022: Key Highlights and a glimpse of breathtaking visuals

October brings with it, an array of festivities all around the world. When it’s Diwali season in India, Berlin gears up for its world-famous festival of lights. This year the 18th edition of the event was a 10-day long festival which began on the 6th of this month and ended on the 17th with grandeur and pomp. Berlin’s most iconic landmarks and buildings were lit up with magical light shows and art by renowned international artists. 

These were the highlights of this year’s show: 

  • Covered 35 venues all across Berlin
  • Consumed 75% less power as compared to last year
  • Included 70 artworks by international artists
  • 100% green electricity from renewable energy sources were used
