A new survey conducted by Deloitte revealed that 46 per cent of Gen Zers and 39 per cent of millennials feel anxious and stressed out at work most of the time.

The survey collected insights about work and living conditions from more than 22,000 respondents  (14,483 were Gen Zers and 8,373 were millennials) in 44 countries between November and December 2022.

The findings suggested that over a third of Gen Z felt exhausted or mentally distant from their job because of persistent feelings of negativity or cynicism.

The survey also concluded that millennial responses were roughly the same but the most affected were women, LGBT+, ethnic minorities and those with disabilities.
