Healthy diet and lifestyle are crucial for staying mentally and physically fit. However, hanging out with friends is also great way to be healthier. According to a recent study, people with strong friendships have better mental and physical health.
In the study, researchers found that people with larger social network have lower risk of premature death. It was a six-year study done on 736 middle-aged Swedish men. It was found that having a life partner has no effect on the risk of heart attack or fatal heart disease but having friends does.
So, next time before cancelling a plan with friends, think twice.
