In a world driven by dating apps and romantic validation, this new 'boy sober' trend offers a refreshing escape. All thanks to social media platforms, particularly TikTok and Instagram have popularised the Boy Sober trend.

This movement encourages women to take a break from dating and focus on themselves. It's like a digital detox for your love life.
Influencers and content creators are increasingly sharing their personal journeys, inspiring others to step away from dating to focus on self-growth.

This openness has helped normalise taking a break from relationships, promoting the idea that prioritizing personal well-being is just as valuable as romantic pursuits.

Recent studies reveal a decline in dating app usage compared to previous years. "Many are experiencing dating app fatigue, overwhelmed by endless swiping and shallow interactions, which has left them feeling exhausted. The rise of toxic or unhealthy relationships has also prompted women to reconsider the value of dating. Additionally, the emphasis on self-care has driven women to focus on their personal needs and goals rather than pursuing romantic relationships," explains counselor and relationship coach Ayushi Mishra.
