Beware! The love of your life might not be ghosting but fizzling you. Yep, fizzling is the latest dating trend doing rounds on social media and it's crueler and more passive-aggressive.
It's the newest break-up tactic where a partner intentionally puts less effort until it reaches the point where they both stop communication altogether. Fizzling can happen over weeks or months at any point in the relationship and has become increasingly common on dating apps.
According to recent data from Hinge, 90 per cent of daters wish to avoid being fizzled as it may impact their self-esteem and mental health.
