It’s that time of the year again. Diwali is just days away and it’s time to get into our cleaning mode. The festival season is the best opportunity to declutter your home.
Take these tips from us and thank us later:
Get rid of expired items:
There will be a heap of expired things lying around your house. From kitchen items, medicines to cosmetics, take out time to throw them away.
Donate old clothes & books
We are emotional about our clothes even if we haven’t worn some of them for years. Diwali is a time of happiness and you can spread that smile by donating your old clothes and books to people who need them much more than you do.
Clean your linens and curtains
Take turns to clean the bed sheets and curtains as they are heavy and take time. Do not miss out the covers. From sofas to table cloths to cushion covers etc., each one of them are equally important to make your house look spic and span.
Cleaning toilet and kitchen
The two most important spaces of our houses that are otherwise neglected. They need to be tidied even before the festivities begin. Empty each shelf and clean them and disinfect the corners and drains.
Because when you host Diwali parties for your friends, you don’t want them to flinch at the first sight of dust at any corner of your beautiful abode. Do you?
