World Earth Day is observed on April 22nd every year to acknowledge climate change and environmental issues like biodiversity loss, increasing pollution and deforestation, among others.
The theme for Earth Day 2022 is 'Invest in our planet'. It is a reminder for mankind to protect the mother earth and its species and make Earth a better place for future generations.
World Earth Day marks the anniversary of the Modern Environmental Movement, which started in 1970. People observe this day by planting trees, cleaning roads, beaches and conducting various programs to adopt ways for sustainable living.
