The favourite season of fashion-holics might have ended but the after-effects are still there. After Coperni, Balenciaga's spring/summer 2023 show caught the limelight.
Demna Gvasalia, the creative director of Balenciaga, never fails to impress with his creative yet bizarre accessories. Recently, the luxury brand, introduced its new collection at the Paris fashion week, and as always, it gave something to talk about. One of the accessories that were part of the line was a bag of potato chips, yes you heard it right!
During the fashion show, runway models were seen carrying a bag of potato chips, which also had a zipper at the top and the logo of our favourite chips; Lay's.
As expected, the design caused a stir on social media platforms and was criticised for selling such common objects at high prices. Remember the price of the trash pouch, shoelace earrings and destroyed sneakers? Annnndd, we are back at it!
The bag will be available in various designs of different Lay's flavours; including classic, lime, salt & vinegar. So, would you like to add your favourite potato chips pack-designed bag to your accessory collection?
