On the sixth day of India Couture Week 2024, designer Jayanti Reddy captivated audiences with her stunning collection.
Heeramandi star Aditi Rao Hydari graced the ramp for the designer, donned in a peplum top paired with sharara, both adorned with intricate sequin embroidery. Her outfit exuded elegance and sophistication. The actress complemented the look with a choker necklace featuring a large pendant. She left her tresses open and opted for minimal makeup.
Jayanti Reddy's collection, "Evocative Nawabi Canvas," was inspired by the rich cultural heritage of Hyderabad. The collection featured heritage textiles in conversation with antique motifs, revisiting India's regal past. Traditional embroideries, informed by the lavish lifestyle of the royals, were showcased in approximately 40 looks.
Jayanti Reddy's creations were distinguished by contemporary silhouettes infused with youthful energy. Her meticulous craftsmanship showcased intricate zardozi embroidery and innovative use of gotta and beads, adding dramatic flair to every piece. Her collection masterfully blended heritage with modernity, creating a truly captivating fusion of past and present.
