Many adults use infant skincare products, believing they are suitable for their sensitive skin. However, dermatologist Jushya Bhatia Sarin has explained why baby products are not suitable for adult skin. She has explained that baby skin differs from adult skin and hence, baby products may not be as effective for adults.

Baby products are typically pH-balanced, fragrance-free, hypoallergenic, and packed with moisturizing ingredients.

On the other hand, adult skin produces more sebum, melanin, and perspiration, and is frequently exposed to daily pollution. Therefore, adults should only use products designed for sensitive adult skin.

Skincare is important for several reasons

Protection: Skincare helps shield your skin from harmful environmental factors like UV radiation, pollution, and harsh weather conditions, reducing the risk of damage and skin diseases.
Healthy Skin:
A regular skincare routine promotes the overall health of your skin, keeping it clean, well-nourished, and hydrated.
Anti-Aging:
Proper skin care can slow down the signs of aging, such as wrinkles and fine lines, by supporting collagen production and maintaining skin elasticity.
Prevention:
Skincare can prevent common skin issues like acne, blemishes, and dryness, helping you maintain clear and radiant skin.
Self-Confidence:
Clear and healthy skin can boost your self-confidence, making you feel more comfortable and positive about your appearance.
Personalized Care:
Skincare can be tailored to your unique skin type and concerns, addressing specific issues effectively.
