Face exercises are being highly promoted these days by influencers and beauty enthusiasts as they help delay fine lines and wrinkles. However, dermatologist, Dr Manasi Shirolikar shared a video, revealing the reality of facial exercises.
According to her there aren’t any scientific studies to prove the effectiveness of face workouts. She further said that the repetitive muscle contraction causes more wrinkles and constant face workouts are likely to speed up the process.
Dr Shirolikar advised using sun protection, staying hydrated, moisturizing and using collagen-stimulating products like retinol and vitamin C to delay wrinkles.
