When Phoebe Waller-Bridge in Fleabag delivered an intense monologue about the importance of hair, all of us felt that! We do agree that hair is everything and we'll go above and beyond for a healthy mane.
Several skincare and haircare trends have been doing rounds on social media and the latest on the list is Rosemary oil. So, does it actually work for hair?
According to studies, rosemary oil has anti-inflammatory properties that helps increase blood circulation in the scalp and prevents hair follicles from losing blood supply and falling off.
It also contains Carnosic acid which heals and rejuvenates the hair. Apart from promoting hair growth, rosemary oil can help deal with problems like dandruff, dry or itchy scalp and premature graying.
With the help of a dropper, apply 4-5 drops of rosemary essential oil to your scalp and gently massage it. You can also apply rosemary oil along with your shampoo or any other hair oil.
Pro tip: Don’t apply more than 5 drops of rosemary oil as too much of it can cause itching.
