The fashion accessory of all time and one of the oldest gemstones; Pearls are the new 'IT' thing that are being spotted at every red carpet event or runway show.

Do you know the first pearl necklace was found in the sarcophagus of a Persian princess? Yes, and later it became a must-have accessory for the ruling class.

In 1936, when Coco Chanel's iconic portrait featuring multiple strands of pearls draped over her shoulders went viral, it was the only luxury accessory everybody wanted. Audrey Hepburn was also seen wearing pearls in the popular movie Breakfast at Tiffany's where she portrayed the role of a wealthy socialite.
