The Paris Haute Couture Week recently witnessed a 'Pin-tastic' show by Jean Paul Gaultier which was designed by Haider Ackermann. Well, there are reasons behind our emphasis on pins as the show saw attires featuring more than 1 lakh hand-embroidered pins.
While Gaultier is popular for 'more is more' approach, the favourite designer of your favourite designers, Ackermann is known for his minimal aesthetic, making the show even more surreal for the audience.
One of the outfits at the show featured 1,11,780 hand-embroidered pins, while another one had 1,42,000 of them.
