During the monsoon season, it's essential to take care of your skin, especially considering the increased humidity and moisture in the air.
Men have comparatively coarser skin and have more facial hair than women, which results in skin problems during the rainy season.
1- Cleanse your face twice a day with a gentle, oil-free cleanser to remove excess oil, dirt, and sweat. This helps prevent clogged pores and acne breakouts.
2- Exfoliate your skin once or twice a week to remove dead skin cells and unclog pores. Choose a mild exfoliating scrub suitable for your skin type to prevent irritation.
3- Even though it's humid, don't skip moisturising. Use a lightweight, water-based moisturiser to hydrate your skin without making it greasy.
4- Apply sunscreen with a minimum SPF of 30 to protect your skin from harmful UV rays, even on cloudy days. Opt for a sunscreen that is water-resistant and suits your skin type.
5- Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated from within.
6- If you have oily skin, use oil-absorbing sheets to control excess oil throughout the day and avoid touching your face frequently to prevent transferring dirt and bacteria.
7- Maintain a healthy diet, rich in fruits, vegetables, and antioxidants to promote healthy skin from within. Avoid excessive consumption of oily and fried foods that can contribute to skin issues.
