On Day 4 of New York Fashion Week, Michael Kors' show took place. The collection of Michael Kors' show was filled with easy breezy holiday fits.
From monochrome coord dresses to black and white abstract attires, the collection covered it all. Kors said that the show was a tribute to his late mother. He said that his mother was a muse and his ultimate supporter.
The runway showcased a collection that evoked a sense of nostalgia, with designs reminiscent of the fashion trends from the 1960s and 1970s, possibly inspired by Kors' mother. The collection featured a variety of stylish pieces, such as short minidresses and delicate chiffon sundresses. A significant portion of the collection was crafted from materials like cotton, cashmere crochet, and lace.
Kors further said,
"She and I travelled the world together and I have so many incredible memories of holidays with her. And she was a woman who broke the rules. She wore hot pants to the office. I think she always had fun with fashion and she really knew herself."
