Radhika's first day as Mrs Ambani saw her wear an extraordinary lehenga by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, in collaboration with contemporary Indian artist Jayasri Burman. The extensively done lehenga featured 12 hand-painted panels on special Italian canvas. It celebrated Anant and Radhika's union with profound imagery.
It features celestial figures of the couple and elephants.
The ensemble boasts meticulous real gold Zardozi embroidery and a cascade of sequins that highlight Jayasri's artwork. She paired the lehenga with a Resham-embroidered blouse by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla.
The ensemble conveys the joy of new beginnings and the excitement of living with the love of your life.
While for the wedding, the bride wore a white and red lehenga, Radhika managed to surprise everyone with her red Manish Malhotra lehenga for her vidaai. Styled by Rhea Kapoor, Manish's lehenga did wonders for Radhika's elegant vidaai look.
The bride's exquisite blouse features real gold karchobi work, inspired by the traditional abho and the rich textile heritage of Kutch, Gujarat, echoing the artistry of the late 19th century. She paired it with a multi-panelled Banarasi brocade lehenga in sunset hues.
The bride's veil had a lattice design and her dupatta is a Banarasi woven masterpiece. Radhika paired the Manish Malhotra lehenga with jewels she wore for her wedding with Anant.
