The Ambani-Merchant shaadi festivities have begun and we just cannot keep calm! The wedding festivities began in Mumbai with the mameru ceremony. For the traditional event, bride-to-be Radhika picked a gorgeous bandhani lehenga designed by Manish Malhotra. For her jewellery, the diva picked some opulent ones from her mother's collection.
Radhika Merchant looked stunning in a bandhani lehenga created by Manish Malhotra. The lehenga featured a luxurious Banarasi brocade fabric in a stunning rani pink shade. The lehenga was embroidered with Durga Maa shlokas. 35 meters of bandhej fabric were used to create the ghagra. Her beautiful V-neck blouse was inspired by a vintage Koti.
She was styled by stylist Rhea Kapoor who did a phenomenal job. For accessories, Radhika picked heritage jewellery from her mother, featuring exquisite necklaces, bangles, and statement earrings.
She tied her hair up in a ponytail that was adorned with golden ornaments.
Mameru ceremony is a part of Gujarati culture where the bride’s maternal uncle gives wedding gifts to her. Mameru refers to the maternal uncle in Gujarati. Many from the Ambani-Merchant clan attended the event.
