The hashtag #flaxseedfacemask is going viral on TikTok with around 77,000 views. This trend is all about using flaxseeds and water as an at-home Botox dupe.
In a TikTok video, influencer Victoria Benitez claimed the benefits of flaxseed as she applied the mixture to her skin and massaged it through her hair.
She suggests that “it’s gonna help you produce collagen” and “has anti-aging properties, thanks to its antioxidants.”
However, opinions among experts differ regarding the effectiveness of the Botox hack, and since everyone's skin is unique, it is essential to conduct a patch test before applying this mixture.
According to Dr Konstantin Vasyukevich, “Flaxseed face masks are good for your skin because they are very rich in fibre. Flaxseed fibre can help maintain skin health by improving skin hydration,”.
