Balenciaga and Valentino showcased their winter/fall collection for 2023 at the Paris Fashion Week that fashion enthusiasts can’t stop talking about.
According to Vogue, Balenciaga’s collection was a stripped back reflection of Demna’s core aesthetic. It was the first one since the campaign crisis.
The show began by showcasing a series of deconstructed formal trousers. Draped monotone dresses were also seen at the runway as models walked down with massive handbags wearing broad-shouldered pleated print dresses. Here, take a look.
Valentino on the other hand was able to balance it with softness and fluidity, though the major highlight of the show was the slim black ties. The 73-look collection explored all kinds of formal dressing; from little black dresses to custom made tuxedo suits to white button-downs and evening jackets were enough to grab all eyes.
