Cannes 2024 has begun and fans are thrilled to see fashion influencers, social media influencers and actors take over the red carpet with their gorgeous looks. This year Cannes will see many Indian social media influencers walking the red carpet, including Delhi-based fashion influencer Nancy Tyagi. The talented artist hails from Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh. She shifted to Delhi to prepare for UPSC, but life had other plans. Here is all you need to know about her.
Nancy's journey from the Baranwa village in Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh to the Cannes Red Carpet is phenomenal. Nancy relocated to Delhi for UPSC coaching after completing Class 12, but soon lockdown happened and fate took a turn. She soon started content creation to make money.
One scroll through her Instagram and you will realise that Nancy makes some awesome dupes of celebrity attires. Her ensembles are locally sourced and stitched by herself. She shares the entire process on Instagram and followers are often amused by her talent.
Today she has 1 million subscribers on YouTube and over 833K followers on Instagram. Speaking about her Cannes experience, Nancy said, "It is my absolute honor to have been invited to the Cannes Film Festival. This is one of the biggest stages for fashion & culture globally and for a girl who hails from the small town of Baranwa in Uttar Pradesh, this is literally a dream come true. Every step of the way, I’ve been driven by a burning desire to make my family proud and to prove that no dream is too big, no obstacle too invincible. I hope to inspire many more girls like me who might think their dreams are too big to be true. Never stop dreaming.”
