Dahi (curd) is great for your gut, and beetroot is rich in antioxidants and nutrients and promotes heart health and boosts stamina. Both of the ingredients make this toast a perfect evening snack or morning breakfast during winters.

Ingredients you need to make beetroot dahi toast

1.5 cup hung curd

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 tbsp chopped coriander

1 tsp Amchur powder/chaat masala

1 tsp chilli flakes

Salt & pepper to taste

1 cup boiled beetroot

1 tbsp ghee

1 tsp mustard seeds

8-10 curry leaves

How to make Beetroot dahi toast

Take a bowl and add - hung curd, pepper powder, chilli flakes, onion, coriander and boiled beetroot. Mix it well. Next, take two slices of bread, apply the dahi beetroot filling on one side and close it with another slice. For those who do not enjoy consuming white bread, you can switch to brown bread for a healthier experience.

To get the tempering right, heat a pan with ghee in it. Add some mustard seeds and curry leaves. After your tempering is done, take the bread and fry it in the pan until it is crispy on both sides.

You can eat the crispy bread right away or wait for some time and have it cold. We bet beetroot dahi toast will become your go-to snack this winter!
