Observed on the third day of Hajj, Eid ul-Adha or the festival of sacrifice will be celebrated on June 29, this year. Ahead of the festival, we've sorted the dessert menu for you to try this Bakra Eid.

These traditional delicacies will make your Eid celebrations even more legit. Take a look!

Sheer Khurma

Begin your Eid celebrations on a sweet note! Prepared with seviyan, milk and lots of nuts, this mouth-watering milk pudding is everyone's favourite. So, if you're going to your friend's place for the yearly 'Eid daawat', don't miss this rich classic dessert.

Kimami Seviyan

This Eid dessert is also made with similar ingredients as those of the Sheer Khurma but it is prepared in a different way. Kimami Seviyan is mostly dry and the best part about this dessert is the coconut garnishing.

Phirni

This frozen specialty is prepared with rice and milk and works best for the summer season. Phirni is the perfect replacement for ice cream or kulfi.

Shahi Tukda

You must've tried this one earlier but if not you must get your hands on it. It is prepared by frying bread pieces in pure ghee and then soaked in flavoured sugar syrup and later topped with milk.

Zaffrani Pulao

Nothing can make a dessert richer than saffron! Try this light zaffrani pulao or zarda (yellow rice) which is a simple dish prepared with rice, khoya and dry fruits.
