This Eid make tasty sheer khurma for your friends and family by following this simple recipe.
Milk- 500 ml
Condensed milk – 1/4 cup
Saffron – a few threads
Dry fruits – 1/4 cup (cashew nuts, pistachios, almonds, raisins, chironji etc.)
Dates- 1/4 cup
Vermicelli - 1/4 cup (about 60 grams)
To make sheer khurma, roast some nuts in ghee. You can take nuts like cashew nuts, pistachios, almonds, raisins, chironji. Take them out and keep them aside. Next, add milk in a pan.
Now add saffron and condensed milk to it and cook for 4 to 5 boils. Now add dates in it. Instead of cutting and adding them, you can blend and add them. Add finely chopped vermicelli and cook for 2 to 3 minutes add dry fruits.
Turn off the flame and add raisins. Keep its consistency as per your choice. Take it out in a bowl and garnish with dry fruits. Sheer Khurma is ready, enjoy with family and friends on Eid.
