When it comes to food, Indian dishes always leave their mark. Recently, Taste Atlas, an immersive travel guide, has just unveiled its ranking of the top 10 puddings worldwide, including two from India.
In the rankings, the classic Phirni secured the 7th position, with Kheer claiming the 10th spot.
Taste Atlas described Phirni, a favourite in North India, and on the other hand, Kheer or payasam, the dessert that originated 2000 years ago in the Lord Jagannath Temple in Orissa, is a creamy rice pudding.
