Trigger warning as you might feel disgusted after knowing this! A Japanese dish is going viral where young women are using their armpits instead of their palms to make rice balls.
This delicacy is known as onigiri. To make this dish all the ingredients and the body parts are disinfected before starting the process of making it and the women are also made to exercise to produce the sweat.
People have become so crazy about this dish that they are paying 10 times more money and are even allowed to go into the kitchen to see whether the women are really sweating under their armpits or not.
According to an article published in South China Morning Post (SCMP), many customers have said that there is no difference in the taste of this dish but still they are paying 10 times more for it.
Onigiri is a popular Japanese snack consisting of a ball or cone of rice, often with a filling and wrapped in nori (seaweed). Onigiri is best made with glutinous short-grain white rice that is either boiled or steamed to its desired firmness. Additions such as salmon, sesame seeds, pickled vegetables, tuna and roe may be added to the rice after it is cooked.
