Know consumption of how many fruits in a day is healthy

Fruits are considered as a part of a healthy diet, but consumption of fruits in excess amount can also cause harm to our health.

Fruits contain natural sugar, fructose, which is no doubt a safer and healthier alternative of processed sugar. However, some fruits contain a lot of calories which can have adverse effects on our health.

Eating too many fruits in a day can increase blood sugar levels of diabetic patients and may cause weight gain in healthier people.

According to diet experts, fruits should be consumed only four to five times in a day. Along with fruits, it is advisable to add vegetables, whole grains and lentils to your diet.
