'Tis the season of mangoes! They are good sources of vitamin C and have several other health benefits. However, Ayurveda suggests soaking mangoes in water for 2-3 hours before consuming them.
Recently, Dr Dixa Bhavsar Savaliya shared about it. According to Ayurveda, soaking mangoes removes the phytic acid that produces heat in our body. It also prevents our body from absorbing minerals like iron, zinc, calcium and others.
Moreover, soaking mangoes also prevents acne, constipation and other gut-related problems.
