How to make Rakul's post-gym smoothie

To make this smoothie you need, 2/3 cup – unsweetened fresh almond milk, 2/3 cup – water, 1 scoop – whey isolate powder, 1tbsp of whole flaxseeds, 1-2 small variety banana, one pinch of cinnamon powder, one pinch of cardamom powder, honey if required.

Mix unsweetened fresh almond milk, water, whey isolate powder, whole flaxseeds and bananas (the smaller variety). Blend all of them together, sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon and cardamom powder. Add honey according to taste.

Why bananas are great post-workout snack?

Bananas make for a great post-workout snack. They are rich in carbohydrates, natural sugars and fibre, providing a quick source of energy. Consuming bananas after a workout can help fuel your muscles ahead of a workout.

The fruit also contains important electrolytes such as potassium, which helps maintain fluid balance, muscle function, and nerve signals during exercise. The fibre content in bananas can aid in digestion, preventing any discomfort during your workout.
