Sugar cravings are hard to kill and a lot of us find it difficult to deal with them. Recently, nutritionist Lovneet Batra shared a post on Instagram suggesting healthy alternatives to satiate those cravings.
In her video, Dr Batra suggested that these sugar cravings can be driven due to lack of magnesium, a low protein and fibre diet. So, it is important to maintain a healthy diet with sufficient amount of protein and fibre in it.
She advised eating a banana and peanut butter which is a healthy combination of protein and fats and can balance your sugar levels. Also, yoghurt with fresh berries and raisins is a good source of natural probiotics, whey protein, fibre which helps you feel fuller, and raisins are a rich source of magnesium.
