Christmas dinner is a festive feast that brings loved ones together, and amid the array of delectable dishes, mashed potatoes stand as a timeless classic. It is a creamy, buttery preparation which serves as a comforting and indispensable side, complementing the richness of holiday flavours.
Joining the ranks of cherished traditions, the velvety texture and indulgent taste of mashed potatoes add a touch of warmth to the Christmas table, creating a culinary centerpiece that evokes joy and togetherness during this season of celebration. But peeling the boiled potatoes is one such task which consumes a lot of time. So, here's a simple hack to save your time and energy.
The hack has been shared by TikToker and culinary expert, Lora McLaughlin Peterson that will help mash boiled potatoes easily.
In the video she's seen placing a baking rack on top of an empty bowl. She then cuts the potatoes into halves and puts them on the baking rack and smashes them. This leaves the potato peels on top of the baking rack and the mashed potato pulps are collected inside the bowl. Try it out and thank us later.
