We all love sandwiches and chutneys, and the combination of the two makes for a delicious snack. Here is how you can make some easy-peasy green chutney sandwiches.

How to make tri-colour sandwiches

Ingredients:

To make easy tri-colour sandwiches at home you need: Bread, grated coconut - 2 cups, mint leaves - 1 cup, coriander Leaves - 1 cup, green chilli - 2 Nos, red chilli - 3 Nos, tamarind, salt and water.

To begin making this sandwich, you need to first make two kinds of chutneys.

Green chutney

In a mixer jar add coconut, mint leaves, coriander leaves, green chillies, tamarind and uppu. Add very little water and grind it into a thick smooth chutney.

Orange Chutney

Next we make the orange chutney.  To the mixer jar, add coconut, red chillies, tamarind and uppu. Add little water to get a smooth and thick chutney.

Now, let's make the tri-colour sandwich.

Take 3 slices of bread, cut off the crust and keep them aside. Next, spread orange chutney on the first slice and green chutney on the third slice. Place the second slice of bread over the third slice (with green chutney). You can add your favourite veggies including capsicum and paneer to enhance the taste of your patriotic sandwich. 

The last step is to close the sandwich with the first slice (with orange chutney) on top.

Your tri-colour sandwich is now ready-to-eat!
