Why should you choose lighter meals in summer?

Lighter meals consisting of more vegetables are rich in water content and keep you hydrated. Lighter meals are easier on the digestive system, allowing you to feel more energetic. Lighter meals tend to be lower in calories and fat, which can support weight management goals, especially when combined with increased physical activity during the summer months. Eating lighter meals can help regulate your body temperature, preventing you from feeling overheated or uncomfortable.
