Shravan also known as Sawan is a sacred month in the Hindu calendar dedicated to Lord Shiva. The shravan month holds a great importance for Hindu devotees as it starts the festivities that continue until the end of the year.
During the entire month, on Mondays also known as 'sawan ka somwar' many people fast the whole day, by restraining themselves from eating normal meals and consuming only fruits and milk. Whereas some people only eat one meal a day preferably prepared without salt. If you are fasting too, here's a list of healthy options that you can consume.

- No fast is complete without sabudana, an ideal delicacy that can be prepared in different forms. It is rich in carbohydrates and provide energy.
