Studies show consuming ultra-processed foods may cause 'Dementia'

Are you one of those who is addicted to packaged food items? Well, now it's high time for you to get alert.

No doubt, we are surrounded by ultra-processed foods everywhere and they are hard to be ignored. However, they leave a deeper impact on our health than we realize. 

Ultra-processed foods like soft drinks, chips, ice cream, frozen meat and ketchup are low in protein, and fiber and high in sugar, fat, and salt. They also contain artificial colors, emulsifiers and thickeners. No doubt these food items are always tempting, but overeating them could lead to many health problems including a neurological disorder called dementia

A recent study published in the journal Neurology, shows the more you consume ultra-processed foods, the higher is the risk of developing dementia
