You must have had radish but what about the leaves? This amazing mooli patta chutney is a must try which is full of antioxidants, micronutrients and vitamins best for supporting your immune system during the winters. Shared by content creator and nutritionist Arjita Singh, is also great for skin health, promotes gut diversity and reduces insulin sensitivity. It also helps curb sugar cravings post meals. Here’s how to make it.
Ingredients for mooli leaves chutney:
1/2 radish
handful of tender radish leaves (look for younger, tender ones while plucking)
2 green chillies
1 tomato
1 handful of fresh coriander
5 garlic cloves
1/2 inch ginger
1/2 lemon squeezed
salt to taste
1/2 tsp heeng
1 tsp black salt
3-4 ice cubes
1/4 cup water
Put all of the above in a blender followed by 3-4 ice cubes, water and lemon juice to maintain the vibrant colour and freshness of the leaves. Grind them all together and your chutney is ready. Serve it with roti, paratha, rice or snacks!
