When an individual is lactose intolerant, their digestive system generates insufficient amounts of an enzyme called lactase, necessary for the digestion of lactose. Those with lactose intolerance encounter issues such as bloating, nausea, and diarrhea upon consuming dairy items.

Given this situation, non-dairy milk stands out as the most suitable choice. If you intend to incorporate it into your diet, almond milk is one of the most nutritious alternatives you can opt for.

Opting for almond milk serves as a commendable substitute for dairy items. This milk, which is both low in calories and rich in nutrients, proves to be a beneficial choice. Additionally, if your aim is weight loss, almond milk stands out as an excellent option. Instead of getting it from outside, you can make almond milk at home.

How to make almond milk at home:

  • Soak almonds in water overnight. This will soften the almonds, which will make them easier to blend.
  • Remove the skin of almonds and wash them in clean water. If you want, you can make it with peels also.
  • Put the soaked almonds and 3 cups of water in a blender and blend well, so that all the almonds are ground completely.
  • Sieve the blended mixture with the help of a cloth so that no large particles of almonds remain.
  • Now almond milk is ready, fill it in a bottle and store it in the fridge and consume it after heating.
