A trend called "free bleeding" has gained popularity among Gen Z girls, where they choose not to use any sanitary products during menstruation, allowing their period blood to flow freely.

This trend has become a topic of discussion on the social media platform TikTok, with young women sharing their experiences. Some find it liberating and natural, although it can be messy.

Annette, one of the creators, explained her process, stating that she prefers to stay at home during her period to honor her body. If she needs to go out, she uses period underwear, but at home, she uses a towel.

However, not everyone is supportive of this trend, with concerns raised about staining clothes.

TikTokers also claim that free bleeding has changed their menstrual cycles, with some reporting lighter periods after adopting this method.
