A variety of healthy eating habits lowers risk of premature death: Study

If you are still contemplating on eating clean and leading a healthy lifestyle, hop onto it right away. As a new study has found that a variety of healthy eating habits reduce your chances of dying young. The study was published in JAMA Internal Medicine. 

The team used data collected over 36 years from more than 75,000 women and 44,085 men. All participants were free of cardiovascular diseases and cancer in the beginning of the study and completed dietary questionnaires every four years who were following at least four kinds of healthy diet like Mediterranean diet and plant-based diets.

People with regular practice of healthy diets were associated with lower risk of cardio vascular diseases and cancer even at the end of the study, researchers concluded.
