Be careful, your friends and family might be making you fat!
A new study has suggested that efforts to lose weight can be influenced positively or negatively by the people closest to you.
Conducted by the University of Surrey, researchers identified three factors affecting a person's weight loss journey - sabotaging, which means intentionally undermining another person’s weight goals, collusion, or discouraging people from switching to a healthier diet or working out, and feeding, that is overfeeding even when the dieter says they are not hungry.
As per researchers, support from loved ones can be an invaluable tool in helping people achieve their weight goals. However, sometimes people who are closest to the dieter thwart their efforts by tempting them with unhealthy food.
