During monsoon season, the risk of conjunctivitis also known as pink eye increases due to increased germs and viruses in the air. According to experts, conjunctivitis can be caused due to heavy moisture in the air. In this season, humidity is very high which can directly affect our eyes.
It is highly contagious and is mostly common among children. It mostly affect both the eyes one by one and is considered contagious.

Give rest to your eyes as much as possible
Avoid going in direct sunlight, and make sure to wear sunglasses
Compress eyes with cold water
Keep washing your hand frequently
Avoid touching your eyes with your hand
