Do you feel guilty for taking breaks in between your tasks? Well, take it easy, as it is apparently good for your well-being.

According to a study published in the PLOS One journal, taking 10‑minute breaks in between tasks help prevent burnout.

Burnouts can happen when people feel overworked; whether from trying to meet too many expectations during a typical workday or being expected to work past the contracted hours.

For the research, the team examined almost 22 studies published over the past three decades and looked at a range of experiments.

They found that short breaks like going for a walk, watching a video or just relaxing for 10 minutes or less improve workers’ well-being, reduce fatigue and increases productivity.
