Recently, hormone specialist, Simrun Chopra shared a post on Instagram stating that people who suffer from iron or zinc deficiency are the ones who have such unusual cravings.
However, it can be treated by consulting a physician and taking supplements as per the requirement of the body. In some cases consulting a psychiatrist also helps if pica happens to be a psychiatric issue.
