Do you use an electric toothbrush to brush your teeth? If yes, then according to a dental hygienist you might be putting yourself at a higher risk of gum disease.

As per dental hygienist Laura Schikkerling, people who use electric toothbrushes should change their toothbrush heads every three months as it may damage their gums and lead to enamel wear and tooth sensitivity.

While brushing, one should always start from the back of your bottom teeth because all the food you eat gets lodged up.

She also recommended buying a soft-bristled brush, so you don’t brush too hard and brush for a full two minutes.
