Chai lovers never say no to a cup of tea no matter what time it is; however consuming tea in the evening might have adverse effects on health.
Recently, Dr Dixa Bhavsar, an Ayurveda expert shared on Instagram that according to medical science, it is best to avoid caffeine 10 hours prior sleeping in order to have a sound sleep, optimum liver detox, reduce inflammation, and better digestion. She also mentioned that underweight people and those who desire healthy skin, hair and gut should say a big no to evening tea.
Although people who work night shifts and don't have any acidity or gastric issues can drink tea in the evening.
