According to a study conducted by Cornell University, consuming pistachios regularly may lower the risk of heart disease and helps improving health and well-being.
During the study, researchers looked at the dietary pattern of participants and found that adding pistachios to diet benefits in better cardiovascular health.
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), also suggests tree nuts and seeds like pistachios can help maintain healthy blood pressure and lower levels of cholesterol.
Those who ate more than three servings of such nuts/seeds, including pistachios, per week lowered the mortality risk by 39%, the team concluded.
