- Essential oils like peppermint and tea tree have potential antimicrobial properties which battle microorganism causing an eye infection. Add a few drops of essential oils in boiling water and take steam for about 5 minutes.
- Honey has antibacterial and antimicrobial properties which is an effective home remedy for eye infection. Boil a cup of water and add 2 drops of honey. Let it cool down, and put it in your eye with the help of a dropper. Wash after 5-10 minutes
