A latest study has shed light on feeding peanut butter to 4 to 6 month old babies. According to it, feeding peanut butter to young babies may cut peanut butter allergies by 77 per cent. The study was published in the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
The study found that the critical period to start feeding peanut butter to babies is between four and six months.
It was also mentioned in the study that if the introduction of peanut butter to babies is delayed until the child turns a year old then that would only cut allergy cases by 33 per cent.
