There has been a high surge in cases of the H3N2 virus. According to the ICMR (Indian Council of Medical Research) the symptoms of this virus are similar to seasonal flu in which a person suffers high fever that lasts up to two-three days, headache, body pain, runny nose, cough and irritation in the throat.
Moreover, the risk of getting this virus is high in children, elderly people and pregnant women. According to experts, people should be careful while going out and keep sanitizing themselves. It is advisable to consult a doctor if the health condition worsens.
